Hello CUPE 382 members!
It’s time again for the golf tournament! It will be held on June 21, at Metchosin Golf Course, 4100 Metchosin Rd. There will be prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, etc. The cost will be $10 for members, $20 for non-members. Teams of 4 can be made if you have people that you want to golf with, or we can put you with random people if you can’t make a full foursome. If you do have a full foursome, please let us know in advance so we can try and organize it ahead of time. Electric carts are limited, but available for rent for a cost of $25, pull carts are $5 and clubs are available for $12. This is a 9-hole tournament, if you plan to golf a full 18, you’ll have to arrange it with the clubhouse. It will be a shotgun start, so we will have 1-2 groups starting at every hole at the same time, so please be early so we can work out the teams and starting holes. Golf should hopefully be starting around 2pm. Golfers would be wise to get there around 1:30. Please note, this is for golf only. The restaurant will be open, but it will be at the golfers’ expense.
